About Me

Hi, I’m Isaiah Allen — author, speaker, community builder, and proud son of St. Paul. I’ve always believed in the power of words to move people, to connect communities, and to spark change. Whether I’m writing children’s books that make kids feel seen and celebrated, crafting poetic stories that resonate with grownups, or speaking to schools and organizations about the importance of mission, purpose, and perseverance, everything I do starts with one question: what impact can this make?

I played college football at the University of St. Thomas, where I studied leadership and management — lessons that show up in everything I create. I’ve had the honor of winning awards, partnering with schools and nonprofits, and selling thousands of copies of my self-published books, all while staying rooted in who I am: a young Black creative committed to building bridges through story.

Writing Mission

Where words meet impact.

That simple phrase drives everything I write. My mission is to create stories that speak — and spark something real. I aim to craft work that resonates emotionally, inspires action, and offers meaning long after the final page.

Whether I’m writing for children or adults, I believe stories have the power to heal, teach, and connect. My goal is to leave readers with something they didn’t have before: a new perspective, a deeper understanding, or just the feeling that someone gets it.

I don’t write to impress. I write to move people.
